During the workshop, the lecturer will guide the audience through all the steps of making metal-free crowns and veneers, from prosthetic design to polishing the bonded restoration. He will first introduce the details of stump preparation and then accelerate the process with a brief demonstration of CAD/CAM technology instead of traditional impression taking. Using a Cerec oral scanner, we will scan the polished teeth of the mould and then carve the zirconia and pressed-ceramic restorations chair-side. The practice concludes with the bonding and polishing of these restorations.
Participants will work in pairs and will perform the preparations using a microscope in accordance with today's state-of-the-art standards. However, thanks to the preparation and assistance of the lecturer, no one will find this difficult. In fact! 🙂
