Description
TIPS & TRICKS – DETAILS AND METHODS LEADING TO ESTHETIC-FUNCTIONAL RESULT IN LIMITED TIME
The aim of this course is to learn and understand step by step protocols of single procedures
– Color match rules – what to see and what to reproduce
– Morphologic details for posteriors – internal form of internal elements
– Choice of material and technique for each situation
– Reproduction of details and effects (opalescence, characterizations)
– Importance of texture of the surface of restoration
– How to respect the age and function of the tooth
– Importance of surface treatment for guarantee of the long term result
PRACTICAL PART
Project of build up of ONE type posterior element (MOLAR 16) in two ways
It is important individuate proper material and technique for each clinical case and to follow repeatable technique, which guarantees the predictable long lasting result.
Consideration of optical effects and especially internal and external morphology achieves expected esthetic and functional balance between used masses and primary functions. Knowledge of materials for restoration and coding of
single elements which compose the tooth in posterior region will allow to obtain ideal results in minor time possible.
Aim: During the course the analysis of the natural morphology will be point out, linking to biodinamics and dental harmony. The technique of additions will be applied to obtain proper orientation of internal elements. This exercise will be first obtained in wax, which is more rapid and easy and then transferred to the aesthetic material.
Simplified codification –
Biodynamic analysis
– Bioconstruction through internal elements – cone technique in composite
– Project of build up of ONE posterior element (MOLAR 16) – Orientation of internal elements
– Analysis of function
– Selection of composite material – stratification of internal elements in composite – Biodynamic rules in orientation of internal elements – Reproduction of sulcus
- Surface treatment and final corrections – polishing protocol.
Practical part will be organized with the camera.
