XVIII. DENTAL WORLD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW

Three days of dentistry

The aim of the organizers is to reach out to the “adult age” event beyond the childhood and adolescent difficulties, and to organize more confidently and thoughtfully the three days of dentistry.

Organizers focused on that all the important players in the industry could find something on Dental World, which could help in their personal work. Therefore, this year, there were training courses for dental hygienists, assistants and technicians as well as a programs for technician and medical students, but also business managers did not leave with an “empty hand” from the event.

On the 18th Dental World the focus was on prevention, implantology and digital dentistry, but of course, endodontics, aesthetics and orthodontics were not left out of the conference programs.

Nearly 100 presentations, 30 workshops and 13 congresses, as well as other accompanying programs, could be taken by those who wanted to expand their existing knowledge.

Many have praised congresses and organizers of professional programs as the invited performers and the knowledge they share have provided real-world solutions to daily problems.

The exhibition was attended by 213 exhibitors and more than 400 manufacturers, bringing the novelty of the emerging technology. Visitors, presenters and exhibitors came from 66 countries.

Perhaps there was not a corner of the profession that did not get some introduction. From treatment units to working garments, from dental prevention to praxis management, from communication with patients to new surgical techniques everyone tried to bring their latest knowledge.

It is not yet possible to know what will be the day after tomorrow’s dentistry, but the “tomorrow’s seeds” could certainly have been met by visitors in the exhibition. One of the important “gains” of permanent development is that the profession has become very complex, so the cooperation of many actors and the combining of a wide variety of knowledge must be successful. Over the years, Dental World has become an increasingly colorful, increasingly complex event, a combination of knowledge and tools.

Expanding and more and more rich programs required a new, larger site. That’s why this event moved to the new, more spacious hall, to the “A” hall of Hungexpo this year. It was proved that this was a good decision, and the bigger space has created the possibility of more varied and colorful programs in Dental World’s life.

On 11-12-13 October, 2018, there was no stopping in the area of dentistry, every year is a new step, and this 18th Dental World event has progressed on this “stairway”.

In the future, the organizers also intend to have three days each October, when dentists can “look at where the profession goes and find their way” at a glance!
