Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in Dentistry
Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are closely related. In both, you can take part in a
computerized virtual world that appears in front of you.
VRubino a new method to visualize 3D images, to plan implants and to save surgery data. The operator, with a viewer on the eyes and sensors, with haptic-based simulation on the fingers, can immerse himself in a virtual world. With VRubino, the STL data are converted into virtual reality, then with the hands, equipped with special sensors, the implants are gripped (but similarly it is applicable to a hip prosthesis or other) which are ideally positioned inside the jaw with the same ease with which a screw fischer type is inserted in a wax structure. The position of the plants thus planned, i.e. their coordinates, are saved and then everything is automatically converted into CAD which can be sent to anyone who wants to further view or design in a traditional way. All this is applicable to any CAD whether it is dental or not.
Augmented reality in dentistry
Augmented reality presents a mix of real world information and additional computer generated information to a user. Such a mix of information is usually presented by superimposing two distinct sets of images on to a monitor or a head mounted display which enables a viewer to observe a mix of the real world and computer generated text or images.

Static and Dynamic Guided Endodontic Microsurgery from Planning to Workflow
2023 is a year that the Fourth industrial revolution is the current standard of care in endodontic care. Alongside the high magnification and low radiation Cone beam CT scanners that have revolutionised diagnosis in our discipline, the evolution in software, artificial intelligence and digital dentistry in general, are leading contemporary endodontic practice to treatment capabilities that were non existing only few years ago. This lecture is about static and dynamic guided endodontic microsurgery from planning to workflow.

Check Out Our Videos of Past Years’ Events
Our two-decade history is worth looking back. What started as an idea at an exhibition 22 years ago has now become a defining dental event. But its success has also required the contribution of many colleagues and supporters. They are also remembered in these few videos – which shows our progress – and allow you to rewind the clock to the beginnings.
