Digital Protocol in Minimally Invasive Dentistry
Dental medicine and fixed prosthodontics are changing their protocols. The digital revolution is making more and more inroads into everyday dental practice. The first steps toward digital workflow have been known for decades. However, a fully digital protocol was not possible until we had digital scanners accurate enough for oral rehabilitations. In addition to scanners, we needed new high-precision 3D printers, milling equipment and materials. A few years ago, we could not complete bridges with large spans without compromise or manual layering techniques. Today, we have scientific proof that digital scanners are close to analog impressions in terms of accuracy. New materials have exceptional esthetic and mechanical properties, and we can use them for full arch restorations without layering. With some limitations, we can move to a fully digital workflow today. Most dentists are familiar with some analog protocols and should be able to use them for digital dentistry. Protocols are very important for predictive therapy.
The presentation will highlight digital protocol in one complex clinical case of full mouth rehabilitation.

Check Out Our Videos of Past Years' Events
Our two-decade history is worth looking back. What started as an idea at an exhibition 23 years ago has now become a defining dental event. But its success has also required the contribution of many colleagues and supporters. They are also remembered in these few videos – which shows our progress – and allow you to rewind the clock to the beginnings.
