Look back over the past years!
Our two-decade history is worth looking back on as an earlier milestone in the endless progress that lies ahead. What started as an idea at an exhibition 22 years ago has now become the defining dental event of the world. But its success has also required the contribution of many colleagues and supporters. They are also remembered in these few videos – which show our progress – and allow you to rewind the clock to 2014

Making Dental Inlays in a Practical Way
Thanks to the rise of adhesive dentistry, the use of inlays is becoming an increasingly popular solution. International trends are gradually spreading to our country. My personal opinion is that sometimes an inlay can be a better choice than a full-coverage crown. In my presentation, I would like to show the making of inserts in a way that may be familiar from everyday routine. I believe that in a busy practice, in addition to solving ideal cases, challenging situations must be handled with experience. As a relatively new user, I would like to talk about my experience with intraoral scanners. As a dentist familiar with IT, I have a more nuanced view of the Cad/Cam revolution, which may help colleagues considering a digital switchover to make a decision.

Shape – Shade – Function
What is the most important in direct anterior restorations – shape, shade or function? Treatment planning in aesthetic region: how to begin and how to finish the restoration in order to achieve longevity and great aesthetics. Speaker will share simplified protocol for anterior restorations from consultation to polishing.
Dr. Carlos Jurado
The Future in Restorative Dentistry is Today
Digital dentistry has been evolving rapidly over the last 30 years with restorative techniques in the forefront of the field. Novel technologies have been used in both the clinic and laboratory. The goals of these new technologies and methods are to manufacture restorations quickly, easily, and more accurately. In addition, patients are more attracted to the digital workflow than to the conventional techniques. Digital workflows have been described with several different approaches, from a combination of conventional and novel techniques to fully digital techniques. The aim of this lecture is demonstrated novel technologies for the fabrication of milled and printed dentures, laser sintered partial denture frameworks, printed diagnostic wax-up for intra-oral try-in, milled and printed crown lengthening surgical guides, printed diagnostic models and more.
Dr. Forster András
Biomimetic Restoration of Structurally Weakened Teeth
Weakening the original stress-bearing structure of the molars has catastrophic biological consequences that can ultimately lead to tooth loss. The Biomimetic Dentist aims to stop this structural degradation, which can be called “The Restorative Death Cycle of the Tooth”, and to create a restoration that restores the original structures to their original load-bearing capacity. The way to achieve this is through the accurate knowledge and diagnosis of histological formulas and through individually designed fibre-reinforced adhesive restorations. In my presentation I will describe the scientifically sound techniques for structural analysis and the fabrication of biomimetic restorations and answer the question that is on everyone’s mind: is direct or indirect restorations the right solution?
Dr. Luca Ortensi
A Fully Digital Workflow to Transfer Functional and Aesthetic Parameters in Complex Dental and Implant Rehabilitation
The use of digital technologies has modified the approach in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Lecture’s purpose is to show colleagues a new codified and totally digital workflow characterized by a digital first visit and an accurate diagnosis using a digital smile previsualization for the realization of the mock -up and the final restoration. The lecture will provide the clinician the digital tools and workflow that will help him/her to achieve a proper individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Giuseppe Marchetti
Indirect Restorative and Adhesive Prosthodontics in 2022: the State Of the Art
The Esthetic indirect restorative techniques are the boundary line between the conservative dentistry and prosthodontics, a boundary that everyone can reach today. The possibility of being able to master them, in a simple and repeatable way, ensures us to have stable results over time and leads to the long-term clinical success. All the steps of the restorative procedures will be shown and described with details for all the phases of a rehabilitation either of simple cases or complex ones. Also the general dentist, then, can acquire the knowledge to manage the essential concepts for successful implementation of an indirect esthetic rehabilitation.

Aesthetic Issues in Complete Edentulism
The rehabilitation of complete edentulism is one of the specialties of our profession, especially when it has to be solved with removable plate prostheses.
How much does the word aesthetics relate to complete removable restorations?
Do the same aspects come into focus as veneers when making full ceramic crowns?
Modern aesthetic dentures are able to meet very high aesthetic standards, which are often different from the criteria for fixed aesthetic restorations.
The lecture will highlight these differences, discussing gnathology, denture stability, facial similarities, directional planes, anatomical landmarks…
Two small aspects that make removable dentures aesthetically pleasing, harmonious with the face, i.e. a true facial rehabilitation, distinguishing them from ordinary, conventional dentures.
Dr. Jason Smithson
Direct Resin in the Anterior Dentition: The ABC of approaching the Complex Case
Conventionally, discolored teeth and advanced wear cases are treated with indirect restorations: crowns and veneers. This approach is well based in the literature and over time, has proven highly successful, however, in some cases it may prove expensive in terms of overall cost, treatment times and most critically loss of tooth structure.
This Master class is designed to allow the experienced practitioner to confidently approach more challenging anterior cases with direct resin in combination with occlusal rehabilitation and bleaching where indicated.
What You Will Learn:
• A simple approach to the direct resin veneer: create masterpieces easily and predictably.
• Masking discolored teeth with direct resin
• Minimally invasive internal whitening of non-vital teeth
• How to handle the peg lateral and microdont teeth
• Functional smile design.
• A predictable approach to reconstruct worn broken down teeth creating functional occlusions with direct resin.
