II. Theory and Practice of Dental Photography (workshop)

By Dr Matyasi Gábor

Introduction to Dental Photography

The improvement of the photography allows both dentists and technicians a quick and easy documenting of their works with digital pictures.

Fitted out with the suitable equipment and proper knowledge, we can archive patient, anatomical situation, completed work and its stages along with the patient’s typical data in a computer with a single move achieving a much richer and more informative documentation than earlier.

Extraoral photography, intraoral photography and taking photos of prosthetic works, respectively, must follow the rules and basic principles of the portrait-, macro- and object-photographing.

Besides the general information about photography, the criteria of the special fields above will be explained in the workshop after which object and intraoral photographic exercises complete the course.

During the workshop, Nikon’s representative will provide technical and professional advice and, in addition, help the attendees to try out the most advanced cameras, objectives and macro-flash units.
